Where the money
actually goes.

10–20%
Strategy and discovery

Audience research, competitive review, content inventory, the brief that tells the rest of the team what to build. Skipping this is the #1 reason cheap projects miss.

25–35%
Design

Wireframes, visual design, design system, responsive states, accessibility audit. The work that defines what the site actually feels like.

30–40%
Development

Hand-built site, CMS integration, forms, analytics, structured data, performance work. Typed, tested, accessible — built so the next person can read the code.

5–20%
Content

Copywriting, photography direction, illustration. Most engagements include first-draft copy for every page.

QA and launch

Cross-browser testing, accessibility checks, redirect mapping, SEO migration, soft launch, analytics setup, search-console wiring.

Things people
actually ask about pricing.

Are these prices in USD or CAD?+
Canadian dollars. Sprint at $9,000 CAD, Studio starting at $28,000 CAD, Partner at $6,000 CAD/month. Most US clients pay roughly 25–30% less in their local currency at current exchange rates.
Is the Studio price fixed?+
The starting price is fixed for the most common scope (full marketing site, 8–10 templates, CMS setup, 30-day post-launch support). Final scope changes the price — bigger content migrations, multi-language builds, e-commerce, integrations all add to it. We share a fixed quote in writing in week one and don't move it after.
Do you bill hourly?+
No. Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline. Hourly billing aligns the vendor's incentive with running over budget; fixed price aligns it with shipping on time. We pick the second one.
What's the minimum commitment for Partner?+
Three months. Anything shorter doesn't give campaigns, programs or content investment enough time to produce honest data. After three months, you're month-to-month.
Do you charge for the initial call?+
No. The first 30-minute call is free — we use it to figure out if we're the right fit for what you're building, and we'll tell you honestly if we aren't.
Can you do smaller projects than Sprint?+
Sometimes — single landing pages, small content sprints, brand audits. Reach out and we'll tell you whether what you need fits inside Sprint, smaller, or whether you should hire someone else. We won't pretend to do things badly.
Do you offer payment plans?+
Yes — Sprint and Studio engagements are typically billed in two or three milestones (kickoff / midpoint / launch). Partner retainers are billed monthly in advance. We don't do 100% upfront and we don't do net-90.
What happens after launch?+
Every Sprint and Studio engagement includes 30–60 days of post-launch support — bug fixes, small adjustments, training. From there, many clients move onto a Partner retainer; others graduate to a quarterly tune-up. There's no lock-in.
